I have three food-blog related failings: I forget to take photographs of the process he goes through as he cooks our wonderful dinners; I forget to take photographs at all, when I’m cooking; and I don’t include recipes as often as I’d like — mainly because he never uses recipes. It’s one of the amazing things about him, to me; since I’m more bakerly, I think in terms of recipes. Instead, he does some of this, taste taste taste a little of that, out of this so instead include that. His dishes are rarely the same way twice, and in fact, if they are the same twice it’s a weird accident.
Yesterday was cold and rainy, with a lot of wind, so it was perfect for being cozy indoors, curling up and watching movies, and cooking. He spent the day making chicken parm, and I made a lemon curd cheesecake. This time I remembered to take pictures while he cooked, but I forgot to take any at all while I did. So here goes, chicken parm:

The recipe came from Epicurious; you can get it here. It was a simple, if involved, recipe, but it’s not an extremely firm cheesecake. Be sure to let it cool as long as the recipe states, or it will run.
Today it’s crazy windy; what kind of luscious dinner goes with that weather?
